The temporary road is about 1km long and wide enough for motorbikes to travel, helping people travel and live temporarily; in the long term, the locality will propose investing in a permanent bridge.

At the scene, in an urgent working atmosphere, the working groups of Division 10 leveled and cleared the dirt and rocks to open the road; on steep hills where motor vehicles could not go, officers and soldiers used hoes and shovels to dig manually, while in flat areas, machines were mobilized to speed up the construction. When the route passed through the cassava fields, soldiers carefully pulled out the plants, put them in bags and gathered them to return to the people. Soldiers also organized to carry necessities supplied by functional units to the landslide site to support people in the isolated area.

Lieutenant Colonel Khuat Xuan Truong, Deputy Division Commander of Division 10, said that the unit is both ensuring the safety of its forces and speeding up the progress of overcoming landslides to soon stabilize people's lives, activities and production.

As reported, Ngoc Linh commune is a locality heavily affected by landslides, causing great damage to infrastructure and isolating about 400 households for many days now.

Also on the morning of November 2, Mr. Truong Cong Lam, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Tra commune, Quang Ngai province, said that the ThatXo landslide had severely damaged the old Tay Tra district Political Training Center, and the locality had urgently evacuated 27 households in the danger zone.
Previously, at about 1 a.m. on October 31, ThatXo mountain suddenly collapsed. On November 1, the landslide continued with a serious level, about 900m³ of soil and rock continued to collapse, burying the office of the old Tay Tra district Political Training Center, and completely collapsing a house, directly affecting households living in the high-risk area.


Immediately after the incident, the People's Committee of Tay Tra commune urgently evacuated 27 households with more than 100 people out of the dangerous area, at the same time stretched ropes, put up warning signs and strictly prohibited people from approaching the landslide area to ensure the safety of life and property.

Households are temporarily housed at Tra Nga village Cultural House and Tay Tra district Cultural Center (old), and the locality supports essential food and provisions during this time.
Quang Ngai: Cay Sung bridge collapsed, separating 250 households
On the morning of November 2, Cay Sung bridge (Binh Minh commune, Quang Ngai province) suddenly collapsed, isolating 250 households.
Accordingly, at about 5:15 a.m. on November 2, the Cay Sung bridge in Phuoc An village, Binh Minh commune collapsed. At that time, there were a number of vehicles moving on the bridge, including one person who fell into the water but quickly swam to shore, while the motorbike has not been found yet.

Immediately after receiving the information, the Military Command of Binh Minh commune quickly arrived at the scene, put up warning ropes and organized a patrol to prohibit all vehicles from crossing the bridge to ensure safety.

Authorities were present to deploy safety measures.
The 12-meter-long, 5-meter-wide Cay Sung Bridge is the only bridge across the stream to the hamlets of Chau Long, Chau Binh and Chau Loc, in Phuoc An village, with about 250 households living there. The bridge collapse has isolated households in the hamlets above.
The People's Committee of Binh Minh commune is implementing temporary solutions as well as finding ways to ensure traffic by boat and canoe to transport food and essential necessities to isolated people.
