Currently, the self-flowing water supply system for Dak Rve commune was invested decades ago, using water from upstream streams to filter tanks for treatment and then distributed to people for a fee. However, the system has seriously degraded, causing water quality to be unsatisfactory.

In reality, many tanks in the water supply system are damaged, the grounds are abandoned, and grass is growing wildly; the upper tanks are covered with mud, the filter nets are dirty, and the output water is cloudy. Some residents said that cloudy water often appears, especially during the rainy season or when there are construction activities that cause landslides upstream.
Ms. Luu Thi Thuy Phi (resident of Hamlet 1) said that the water was murky so her family had to install a pre-filter system before daring to use it. Ms. Nguyen Thi Duyen's family (in the same hamlet) only dared to use tap water for bathing and washing; for cooking, they had to buy bottled water.

According to Mr. Nguyen Tan Vu, Head of the Economic Department of Dak Rve Commune, the locality has requested the operating unit to strengthen temporary filtration measures to improve water quality. However, in the long term, people hope to invest in a new water supply system, ensuring safety and stability.
Previously, SGGP Newspaper also reported the situation of turbid domestic water in the locality. Although temporary solutions have been implemented, the situation still persists, directly affecting the lives and health of thousands of people.
