
According to the report of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, from January 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025, the whole province detected 1,842 fishing vessels violating regulations related to losing VMS connection for 6 hours or more, losing connection for more than 10 days at sea or exceeding the permitted fishing boundary. To date, the province has handled 1,842/1,842 vessels, reaching a rate of 100%. Particularly, in the period from October 1, 2025 to November 20, 2025, the whole province detected 16 fishing vessels violating regulations on losing VMS connection and exceeding the permitted fishing boundary at sea. All 16/16 vessels have been completely handled.
Along with handling violations, fleet management continues to be strengthened. As of November 21, 2025, the whole province has 4,850 fishing vessels, 100% of which have been registered and updated to the national database system VNFishbase. Of the 4,733 fishing vessels in operation, 100% have been granted fishing licenses.
