Quang Ninh supports 50 tons of goods to help Lam Dong overcome flood consequences

On November 26, at Duc Trong commune, the Provincial Red Cross Society received 50 tons of goods and necessities sent by officials and people of Quang Ninh province to people in Lam Dong province affected by floods.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Minh, Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross Society, said: The Society will coordinate with relevant units to deliver these goods directly to communes in the area affected by the recent floods.

In Duc Trong commune alone, about 10 tons of various goods were donated to help people overcome difficulties.

Also at the reception, the working delegation of Quang Ninh province presented 20 gifts to households in Duc Trong commune.

The remaining goods were mobilized by the Red Cross of Duc Trong commune to classify and package to promptly send to local people as soon as possible.
