Roon Border Guard Station (Quang Tri Provincial Border Guard) informed: Hon La Port Border Guard Station received and provided initial medical care to 7 crew members of a fishing boat in distress at sea.
Previously, on the morning of November 10, fishing boat TH 90073-TS was captained by Mr. Le Cong Dung (born in 1980, in Ngoc Son ward, Thanh Hoa province), with 7 crew members on board.
When the crew anchored the ship to rest, they discovered that more than half of the ship was flooded. The ship then sank in the sea about 3 nautical miles east of Hon La Port.

At the time the fishing boat TH 90073-TS sank, the boat TH 91812-TS of Mr. Le Cong Hau operating nearby discovered and promptly rescued the crew members of the fishing boat in distress; reported to the Border Guard Station of Hon La Port and Roon Border Guard Station.
Upon receiving the news, Roon Border Guard Station directed the Station's forces to maintain communication with the ship, organize reception and send military medics to directly support, examine and provide initial health care for the crew members.
Currently all 7 crew members are healthy./.
