On January 5, 2026, in Ho Chi Minh City, An Xuan Organic Medicinal Herbs Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Cam Lo commune, Quang Tri province) held a ceremony to export a batch of medicinal herbs that received OCOP product certification to the US market.

The products exported in this batch include nearly 10,000 units: An Xuan 5-star OCOP soluble powdered milk thistle extract and two 4-star OCOP products: celery tea and perilla tea. These are typical products recognized as 5-star and 4-star OCOP products at the provincial level, meeting all the strict standards regarding cultivation, modern processing procedures, and high medicinal value.

The shipment will be widely distributed in the US market through major retail supermarket chains, making it easier for consumers there to access natural health care solutions from Vietnamese herbs.

According to Ms. Diem, the US is one of the world's most demanding markets with strict standards for food safety and pharmacological testing, yet it has welcomed products from a startup business in Quang Tri. Therefore, successful exports to the US market have helped elevate the OCOP brand internationally, creating momentum for organic agriculture to increase sustainable economic value and helping to preserve and promote the value of traditional Vietnamese herbal medicine.
