"Love Bolero" 2025 has the participation of 12 contestants who are artists, MCs, and beauties working in many different fields. For MC Quoc Tri, participating in this playground is a milestone marking Quoc Tri's new transition to the singing field.
Right in the opening episode, Quoc Tri brought the audience many emotions when he chose to tell the story of the land where he was born and raised through music . Coming from a Western boy, the male MC skillfully praised his homeland with the song "Dong Thap, my hometown" (composed by Son Ha).
Not only showing off his warm voice, Quoc Tri also skillfully performed sweet folk songs, combined with a rap performance on the stage of "Love Bolero", sending the judges rustic gifts such as lotus flowers, spring rolls, fruits..., bringing many interesting things to the audience.
The male MC shared: “I really like bolero and folk music. I also know that I am not outstanding when singing this music genre. But in my opening performance, I wanted to bring the rustic charm of a country boy to the stage to introduce to the audience the warmth of the people of the West. I took a risk and hope to have done well in this test.”
As a judge, actor Ba Thang highly appreciated Quoc Tri's intelligence in creating many new impressions for the performance, and even asked for the "beat" of this performance because he especially liked it. Meritorious Artist Vu Thanh Vinh expressed his impression of Quoc Tri's journey from chief flight attendant to artist.
“If you want to pursue singing, I think you should learn more about vocal music. You can still develop, on the condition that you are never satisfied with what you have,” Meritorious Artist Vu Thanh Vinh emphasized.
Reuniting with Meritorious Artist Vu Thanh Vinh - the talented director who was a judge in the Golden Swallow contest that Quoc Tri participated in 4 years ago, the male MC could not help but be moved: "He once told me not to give up, to try every day. From those words, today there is an MC Quoc Tri here. I am proud of that journey".
With his impressive performance, Quoc Tri received 36.25 points from the Jury. The male MC shared that although experiencing a new field has many challenges and risks, he believes this is a necessary journey to perfect himself and conquer the image of a versatile artist in the hearts of the audience.
Talking about the goal of winning or the story of scores, Quoc Tri said that in each journey, he sets himself a goal to strive for, but above all, it is still the story of what he learns from it. "For me, even the harsh comments from the judges are valuable lessons for the journey ahead," he said.
“Bolero Love” first aired in 2016, and is an art playground that has left an unforgettable impression on television audiences nationwide.
Returning in 2025 with the "Artist" version, "Bolero Love 2025" promises to bring many attractive performances with investment in both the content of the message conveyed and the staging.
