King of Jordan pays official visit to Vietnam

On November 12, King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan arrived in Hanoi, beginning an official visit to Vietnam at the invitation of President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Luong Cuong.

The delegation included Chief Royal Advisor on Religion and Culture, His Highness Ghazi bin Mohammad; Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Hussein Abdullah Safadi; Chief of the King's Office Alaa Arif Saad Batayneh; Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Yarub Falah Mefleh Qudah; Director of the Royal Political Department Mo'ath Abdel Rahman S. Alzo'bi; Director of Investment and Business Department Yazan AM Abu-hantash; Ambassador-designate of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Vietnam, Dr. Sa'ed Radaideh.

King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan was born in 1962 and studied at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, UK; Pembroke College, Oxford University, UK; Georgetown University, USA. He served for a long time in the Royal Jordanian Army. From 1993 to 1994, he was Deputy Commander of the Jordanian Special Forces. During the period 1994-1999, he was Commander of the Jordanian Special Forces. From 1999 to present, he has been King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
