Record donation of 5 billion VND to build schools in remote areas

Held for the 8th time, EDURUN 2024 is also a special event to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the VinschoolEducation System. Countless impressive moments on the running routes created by parents, students, and teachers of Vinschool have contributed to a successful and emotional EDURUN 2024 Offline Running Day when hundreds of thousands of running steps are heading towards the same destination, which is to bring a better learning environment for children in difficult circumstances.

Athletes and fans burst into tears at the moment the EDURUN 2024 Race's donation amount was announced: 5 billion VND - The largest donation amount ever for an EDURUN season. 9,713 Race-kits and 31,000 shirts were ordered by parents and students across the system in the first week of the launch.

Of which, Vinschool recorded a contribution of 400 million VND in cash from the exclusive sponsor Techcombank , along with charitable activities at 50 Vinschool campuses nationwide directly supporting the EDURUN 2024 fund. From the budget raised this year, Vinschool will work with parents to find an address to build schools and classrooms for poor children in remote areas.

In the sea of people "dying pink" the EDURUN running route, the presence of inspirational Ambassador parents such as: Actors Manh Truong, Thanh Huong, Hoang Kim Ngoc, former supermodel Thuy Hang, football player Mac Hong Quan... stirred up the atmosphere and helped spread the spirit of "Run for Education" to 10,000 athletes. In addition, students and parents who achieved high results in previous EDURUN seasons or won in accompanying competitions before the event, especially the presence of the Board of Directors of schools built from EDURUN funds also became ambassadors and pioneers on the running track.

Journey to narrow the education gap through 8 seasons of Edurun

EDURUN is not only a sporting event but also a symbol of community spirit, becoming an indispensable part of Vinschool culture. Since 2015, the program has attracted more than 160,000 participants and raised more than 21 billion VND, helping to build schools in the most difficult areas of Son La, Quang Tri, Dien Bien, Quang Binh , Ha Giang provinces...

11 schools in remote areas, in 6 extremely difficult localities, were solidly built from the EDURUN budget. These schools are located in remote districts. Most of the students studying at the school are children of poor households, ethnic minorities with difficult family circumstances.

More than 40 events have been organized with EDURUN, creating closeness between athletes and the program, contributing to spreading the meaningful message of the program to the community, such as: EDURUN Ambassador Search Contest, EDURUN Moment Contest...
