Decision on regulations for awarding the title "Outstanding Citizen of Tuyen Quang Province"

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a Decision regulating the awarding of the title "Outstanding Citizen of Tuyen Quang Province" in 2025. This Decision stipulates the principles, criteria, time, and number of individuals awarded the title; the authority to award the title; the rights and obligations of individuals awarded the title; the cancellation, stripping of the title, recovery of artifacts and bonuses; funding sources for awarding the title; responsibilities of agencies, units, and localities in awarding the title "Outstanding Citizen of Tuyen Quang Province".

Accordingly, the subjects of consideration for awarding titles are: Citizens of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam who are living, working, studying, and working in Tuyen Quang province; provincial-level departments, branches, and equivalent agencies; agencies and organizations under the Provincial Party Committee, Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council; agencies and organizations directly under the Central Government with headquarters operating in Tuyen Quang province; People's Committees of communes and wards; enterprises of the province; agencies, organizations, units, and individuals related to the consideration for awarding titles.

The awarding period is carried out annually. Each year, no more than 10 individuals are considered for the award. Each individual is only considered for the title once, and the posthumous awarding is not applied. Individuals considered for the title must comply with the following principles: Publicity, objectivity, fairness, and must have a 90% or higher approval rate of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council of the total number of Council members.
