In strict compliance with the directives of the Hanoi City Police on ensuring security and order, the Tay Ho Ward Police have developed and implemented a plan with high political determination. The unit focuses on maintaining stability in the area at the grassroots level, identifying potential risks early to prevent the emergence of complex social order issues. The synchronized implementation of professional measures from the last months of 2025 has laid the groundwork for effective management of the area during this peak period.

The Tay Ho Ward Police are intensifying comprehensive patrols in the inner areas of religious establishments, both to protect security and order and to remind people to practice civilized behavior and prevent theft and pickpocketing in crowded places.

On the morning of the first day of the Lunar New Year, crowds flocked to Tay Ho Temple from early morning. Despite the significant increase in vehicles, flexible traffic management at intersections such as Dang Thai Mai - Quang Khanh ensured smooth traffic flow. Police officers from the ward, along with coordinating units, were on duty throughout, guiding visitors to park in designated areas and preventing vendors from encroaching on the road.

The Tay Ho ward area is characterized by its concentration of major spiritual sites such as Tay Ho Temple and Tran Quoc Pagoda, attracting a large number of visitors from all over. To effectively manage this area, the ward's police force is deployed on duty 24/7, coordinating closely with other professional units to increase patrols.

Inside the grounds of Tay Ho Temple, the atmosphere during the religious ceremony was orderly and civilized. Police teams from the ward constantly moved around, reminding people to take care of their personal belongings and observe civilized customs during the festival. The presence of police officers at every "hot spot" not only maintained security and order but also brought a sense of peace and reassurance to the people on the first day of the new year.

The presence of police officers at every "hot spot" not only maintains security and order but also brings a sense of peace and reassurance to the people on the first day of the new year.

Regarding the implementation, Lieutenant Colonel Ngo Thai Son, Head of Tay Ho Ward Police, said that the unit had anticipated a sudden increase in the volume of people and vehicles. Therefore, the ward police advised higher authorities on traffic diversion plans, establishing soft barriers and strategically designated vehicle staging areas to prevent prolonged traffic congestion on the main roads leading to the spiritual area. Coordination between the ward police force, local security forces, and other relevant departments and organizations was maximized to ensure smooth communication and command.

Lieutenant Colonel Ngo Thai Son emphasized that the unit places special emphasis on combining professional measures with public mobilization. Each officer and soldier, when on duty, is not only a security guard but also a propagandist guiding people to adopt a civilized lifestyle. Law enforcement officers regularly remind people to protect their personal property and avoid carelessness that could be exploited by criminals in crowded areas. The goal is to create a safe and friendly environment so that every citizen visiting Tay Ho feels secure.

To prevent traffic congestion, the ward police coordinated the establishment of a signage system and organized a scientific traffic flow management system from a distance, helping visitors from all over to move conveniently and safely during the peak days of the Lunar New Year of the Horse.

In addition, fire prevention, firefighting, and rescue efforts have been intensified through inspections of religious sites, temples, and pagodas. The ward police have instructed the management boards of historical sites to rearrange areas for burning incense and candles to minimize the risk of fire and explosions from burning votive paper. Task forces have also actively promoted awareness among the public to avoid releasing fish with plastic bags and littering indiscriminately into West Lake, contributing to maintaining a clean and beautiful environment during the Spring Festival.

With a sense of responsibility and a readiness to fulfill all tasks, the Tay Ho Ward Police force is striving to make the 2026 Lunar New Year a truly safe and civilized spring. The results achieved in ensuring security and order not only contribute to protecting the peace of the capital but also enhance the positive image of the People's Police officers who selflessly serve the nation and the people.
