Attending the event were leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of Xuan Phu commune; Da Nang City Association of fellow countrymen and Xuan Phu compatriots living and working in Ho Chi Minh City.

Xuan Phu commune was established on the basis of merging 4 communes: Que Phu, Huong An, Que Xuan 1 and Que Xuan 2, with an area of 52km², population of 37,000 people, including 27 villages.
The provisional liaison committee consists of 17 members; Mr. Vo Cong Khanh was trusted to hold the position of Head of the provisional liaison committee; Mr. Mai Phuc was appointed as Head of the advisory committee.
At the ceremony, Mr. Tran Hung Phong, Chairman of the Da Nang City Association, informed about the activities of the association after the merger, emphasizing the mobilization of resources to support his hometown to overcome the damage caused by recent floods.
Speaking at the program, Party Secretary and Chairman of Xuan Phu Commune People's Council Dinh Van Bao hoped that the Liaison Committee would be a bridge connecting fellow countrymen far from home, strengthening coordination between the locality and the Xuan Phu community in Ho Chi Minh City.
Mr. Vo Cong Khanh, Head of the Liaison Committee, said that the temporary Liaison Committee will carry out activities to accompany the community of fellow countrymen in Ho Chi Minh City and turn to their homeland, contributing to the development of Xuan Phu.
