Launch of 'Specialized school electric vehicle' service

DNVN - GSM and VinBus officially launched School Bus - the first "Specialized Electric School Bus" service in Vietnam. This is the only passenger vehicle nationwide that fully meets the technical and safety standards for school buses according to the Law on Road Traffic Safety and Order 2024, with a specially designed utility system.

School Bus is a combination of 3 leading green transportation brands in Vietnam: using 100% VinFast electric cars, operated by VinBus team, on the technology platform of Xanh SM - with the goal of building a standard school transportation model, maximizing the safety of students.

School Bus service operates by EB 6 electric school bus version.

EB 6 electric vehicle service - VinFast's latest small passenger vehicle, designed with 19 seats, spacious cabin , smooth operation and the advantages of no dust, no noise. The special feature of EB 6 is its pre-designed design for school buses, fully complying with technical and safety standards for school buses, as stipulated in the Law on Road Traffic Safety and Order 2024.

The vehicle is integrated with a comprehensive safety monitoring system Secure to Safe (S2S) with cameras at the entrance and passenger compartment, GPS technology to track the vehicle's location, Face ID attendance technology and a process to check the vehicle compartment after each trip to ensure that no students are left behind. All journey data is encrypted and securely sent to the school and the operating team, helping to ensure transparent and accurate management.

In addition, the car is also equipped with an air filter and air quality sensor to ensure the health and comfort of passengers throughout the journey.

In addition to the technology platform, School Bus pays special attention to the human factor, with a team of drivers and supervisors specially trained in safety skills, child psychology and school conduct rules. Each trip follows VinBus' five-step safety process, ensuring no incidents occur and bringing peace of mind to parents and schools.

In the first phase, the School Bus service will be provided to schools in the Vinschool education system in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. In the 2026-2027 school year, School Bus will expand to other private and international schools nationwide. In addition, School Bus will also be integrated on the Xanh SM application to make it easy for customers to book services, while helping parents track student travel routes and pick-up and drop-off status in real time, ensuring compliance with the school's privacy regulations.
