According to the Tan Thanh Commune Police, during the Lunar New Year holiday, the illegal buying, selling, transporting, storing, and using of fireworks in the area still poses a risk, affecting the people's economy and local security and order.
To prevent this situation, every year, the Party Committee of Tan Thanh commune and the Party Branch of Kien Trinh village issue a specialized resolution on the prevention of firework-related crimes. In addition, the local government, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, and various departments and organizations have plans to direct and implement effective measures to prevent the illegal trade of firecrackers.
At the launch ceremony, the Tan Thanh Commune Police and the Tan Thanh Commune People's Committee requested that each family strictly adhere to the Party's policies, State laws, and village regulations regarding the prohibition of illegal fireworks use; disseminate information about the harmful effects of trading, transporting, storing, and using illegal fireworks to 100% of households; and organize for residents of Kien Trinh village to sign a commitment not to transport, store, buy, or use illegal fireworks.
Every family and every citizen should strictly adhere to the "Three No's," which include: no storing, no using, and no buying or selling of fireworks. They should also strictly observe the "Four Safeguards," which include: protecting people, protecting property, protecting the community, and protecting compassion; and strengthen the management and education of children, students, and those working away from home, providing them with the necessary knowledge to avoid participating in activities related to fireworks.

On this occasion, the Tan Thanh Commune Police disseminated information on laws related to drug prevention and control, the buying, selling, storing, transporting, and using of weapons, explosives, supporting tools, and fireworks, traffic safety, and fire prevention.
