The Porsche 911 GT3 Touring is a very exciting street- legal sports car, and one dealer is making it even more exciting by launching a special edition, inspired by the Ocelot, one of Colombia's most ferocious predators. Did you know that the Germans have a special customization program called Sonderwunsch, which creates one-off cars that are customized for any customer they want? In the case of the Ocelot, that customer is Porsche, who created the car as a commemorative.
Miami-based Porsche Latin America is responsible for the project, which marks its 25th anniversary this year. To mark the occasion, the company has personalized a 2025 911 GT3 Touring in the Sonderwunsch style, turning it into a one-off, one of many more to come. Like most Sonderwunsch projects, the Porsche remains mechanically identical to the rest of the family, but its appearance, both inside and out, pays homage to one of the most biodiverse regions on the planet, Colombia's Amazon rainforest. So the car's exterior is painted in an exclusive Forest Green Metallic color. The color evokes "the endless layers of foliage, shade, and light of a tropical forest." It's also a vibrant color that looks different depending on the angle of the light.
But the most Ocelot-related details will have to be opened the door of this Porsche and looked inside. There, you will admire the Cohiba Brown leather interior, simulating the fur of the wild cat, dotted with Crema and Truffle Brown stitching. The car’s sports seats go even further, with black-and-white Pepita fabric covering the middle. But the most noticeable African wildcat accent is on the headrests: the animal’s silhouette is embossed on each seat, in the same shape and size that Colombian drivers often see on local road signs warning of wildlife crossings. On the front left, Porsche has fitted a unique steering wheel in Cohiba Brown leather with a Truffle Brown hour marker at the 12 o’clock position. To complete the look, a matching colour scheme has been chosen for less obvious details, including the floor mats, seat belts and interior trim. So the 2025 Porsche 911 GT3 Touring Ocelot is a one-off Sonderwunsch project commissioned by Porsche Latin America, and that means we'll never know how much it cost to build, nor what happened to the car after it was introduced.
But we know what it will mean for Latin America, as the Ocelot is the German automaker's first product in a larger project called Latin American Icons. I'm talking about a collection of cars (numbers unknown) that will be personalized and designed to celebrate the continent's "characteristic cultures, flora, fauna and traditions." To ensure everyone understands the Ocelot's place in this collection, Porsche has placed the Porsche Latin America logo on the B-pillar of the car with a special "Iconos de Latinoamérica" inscription. Additionally, when opening the driver's door, the illuminated door sills display the GT3 logo accompanied by the words "30 Años de Autoelite" (referring to the 30th year of Porsche's official importation to Colombia).
