Launching book by late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on building the People's Public Security force

On the afternoon of November 11, the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission and the National Political Publishing House Truth to organize the launching ceremony of the book Building a truly clean and strong People's Public Security force, sacrificing oneself for the country and serving the people by the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

The book is a work of profound theoretical and practical value, demonstrating General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's consistent concern for the task of ensuring national security, social order and safety, and firmly protecting the Fatherland. With a capacity of 600 pages, the book selects 39 important articles, speeches, letters and instructions of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to the People's Public Security Forces (CAND) through many periods and in many working positions, vividly reflecting reality, while demonstrating the General Secretary's consistent theoretical thinking, strategic vision and sentiments for the task of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety.

At the ceremony, General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security , said that during his lifetime, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong always paid special attention to and made great contributions to the cause of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety, and building the People's Public Security Force. In order for the People's Public Security Force to successfully complete all political tasks, worthy of being a reliable support for the Party, State and people, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong paid special attention to directing the work of building a truly clean and strong People's Public Security Force, closely attached to the people, and closely coordinated with the People's Army. The articles, speeches, and exchanges deeply demonstrated the intelligence, dedication, vision, responsibility, as well as the special attention, deep affection and trust of the head of our Party towards the People's Public Security Force, which are collected in the book launched today.

With the content divided into 3 parts: "Building a strong and comprehensive People's Public Security force, worthy of being an absolutely loyal force to the Party, State and People", "The People's Public Security force firmly protects national security, ensures social order and safety, forgets itself for the country, serves the people", "Outstanding marks, deep affection of the People's Public Security force for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and the political responsibility of the People's Public Security force in the new period", the book has provided strategic arguments on the role and position of the People's Public Security force in protecting and building the Fatherland, systematizing orientations and solutions for the People's Public Security force to continue to excellently fulfill its tasks, worthy of the glorious tradition of 80 years of building, fighting and growing.

The book is not only a valuable document but also a guideline for the entire People's Public Security force in its work, combat and force building in the following years; for local Party committees and authorities at all levels in leading and managing security and order protection work; to encourage and arouse patriotism, and to guide the masses to actively participate in the cause of protecting the Fatherland in general and the cause of protecting security and order in particular.
