Book launch to celebrate 65 years of faithful Vietnam-Cuba friendship

On the morning of November 12, in Hanoi, the Truth National Political Publishing House coordinated with the Cuban Embassy in Vietnam to organize the launching ceremony of the book 65 years of cultivating the loyal and exemplary friendship between Vietnam and Cuba.

The publication was launched on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries (1960 - 2025) and the Vietnam - Cuba Friendship Year 2025. The book is a vivid symbol of the special and loyal affection between the two peoples, considered an exemplary and rare relationship in the history of international relations.

With more than 200 large pages, the book gathers many valuable images and documents, divided into 3 parts: President Ho Chi Minh - President Fidel Castro: The one who laid the historical foundation for the Vietnam - Cuba relationship; 65 years of Vietnam - Cuba friendship, a special and exemplary solidarity relationship; Imprints of historic visits by the two countries' leaders.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Trong Lam, Director - Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House, emphasized: "In the context of many changes in the world, the special and loyal friendship between the two countries is a solid foundation for Vietnam and Cuba to always stand side by side, continue to persevere in the cause of building socialism, developing the economy - society, contributing to peace , cooperation and development in the world." He also affirmed that the book contributes to spreading the value of solidarity, educating the young generation of the two countries to appreciate and preserve this special friendship.

Mr. Rogelio Polanco Fuentes, Cuban Ambassador to Vietnam, highly appreciated the value of the book, considering it “an outstanding contribution to preserving historical memories and exemplary solidarity between the two peoples”. The Ambassador also thanked the Truth National Political Publishing House for its efforts to introduce the image of the country and people of Cuba and Vietnam to international friends.
