Red continues to be the dominant color, representing the Vietnamese national flag, the will and fighting spirit of the Vietnamese people. Meanwhile, white, the color associated with glorious milestones such as the 2008 AFF Cup championship and the 30th SEA Games gold medal, is included for the first time in the official competition uniform, as a reminder of the glorious past and faith in the future.
Finally, the color blue is a completely new highlight. The color tone not only symbolizes peace , hope and renewable energy, but also the color of the open sky, where Vietnamese athletes stride to reach new limits.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet, Director of the Vietnam Sports Department, affirmed that the competition and travel uniforms of the Vietnam Sports Delegation are always a source of national pride, a place to express the fighting spirit, the will to rise up and the image of the Vietnamese people united, strong and confident in integration.
"The event we witness today is not only the launch of the Vietnamese Sports Delegation's uniform at the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand on Vietnamese territory, but we are also introducing the image and national identity of Vietnam through the costumes of the athletes performing and competing in front of regional friends" - Director Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet said.
