Tax officials and businesses provide solutions to support business households.

With this campaign, the tax sector continues to support business households in accessing the modern tax management model of "self-declaration, self-calculation, self-payment", raising citizens' awareness and responsibility in fulfilling their tax obligations to the State. Striving to achieve the goal that by December 25, 2026, 100% of business households applying the lump-sum tax method will switch to applying the declaration and self-payment method from January 1, 2026. At the same time, 100% of business households will be surveyed, have access to information and receive support from the tax authority on the content of converting from the lump-sum tax method to the declaration method and converting from business households into enterprises.

Mr. Doan Vi Tuyen, Head of the City Tax Department, emphasized that the 45-day peak campaign to convert the model from lump-sum tax to declaration for business households is not only to properly implement the spirit of Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW dated May 4, 2025 of the Politburo on private economic development and Resolution No. 198/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly on a number of special mechanisms and policies for private economic development, but also aims to build a fair, transparent and suitable tax environment for the development of the digital economy. In the initial phase of implementation, the City Tax Department identified that business households may encounter difficulties and confusion when switching to the declaration model. Therefore, the City Tax Department is committed to maximum companionship and close connection with technology solution providers, banks, telecommunications enterprises, accounting and tax consulting companies, etc. to provide comprehensive support for each household in the form of hand-holding and guidance. All solutions, processes and guidelines are implemented with the spirit of not incurring any costs to the business household during the conversion process.

With the participation of the entire political system, the support of the business community and the cooperation of business households, the Head of Hue City Tax expressed his belief that the 45-day peak campaign to convert the model from lump-sum tax to declaration for business households will be completed on schedule, contributing to building a modern, effective and sustainable tax management system.
