Launching "Green Sunday" to protect the environment

On July 19, Truong Ninh Commune Youth Union organized a campaign to respond to "Green Sunday" to protect the environment and launched a peak period of "Repaying gratitude - Remembering the source of water".

Accordingly, nearly 100 youth union members participated in cleaning and beautifying the grounds of martyr cemeteries in the commune; taking care of martyrs' graves, cleaning memorial steles; clearing bushes, and cleaning youth-managed roads.

Secretary of the Youth Union of Truong Ninh commune, Tran Thi Nga, said that “Green Sunday” is not only an activity to join hands to protect the environment, but also an opportunity for the youth of Truong Ninh commune to express their deep gratitude to the generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
