Launching a tree-planting campaign in gratitude to Uncle Ho.

(CT) - On May 19th, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and political and social organizations of Thoi Hung commune, in coordination with various departments and organizations, held a ceremony to launch a tree planting campaign to commemorate the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026).

Delegates attended the ceremony to launch the tree planting activity and the "Fight Against Plastic Waste" movement.

Accordingly, about 70 officials, union members, and association members participated in cleaning up the environment and planting 200 trees along the road leading to the center of Thoi Hung commune, with a total length of about 2km. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and political and social organizations of the commune launched the "Anti-Plastic Waste" movement, donating 30 trash bins to households in the commune.
