The government has contracted with units to transport waste to the Nghi Yen Solid Waste Treatment Complex in Nghi Yen commune, Nghi Loc district. Regarding the waste situation in Dien Bich commune, the district is directing the commune to soon have a plan to contract with environmental treatment units to relocate the landfill. Photo: Van Truong A representative of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Do Luong district said: The problem of waste collection in Do Luong is very difficult. Currently, 16 communes in the area bury waste at the Hong Son landfill, the remaining 17 communes handle it themselves by burying waste in the area, or collecting and burning waste manually.
