While many robots are still struggling to learn to walk, G1 has demonstrated amazing flexibility. Unitree Robotics, a leading Chinese company, developed the G1 with the aim of serving research and businesses.
The video shows G1 being able to fight, recover from falls, and even do housework. A research team at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) taught G1 to play basketball, handle the ball and shoot like an athlete.
SkillMimic technology helps AI imitate human movements and practice in a simulated environment. Once completed, the skills are transferred to real robots, creating impressive performances. Compared to Toyota's previous robots, G1 excels in agility and natural body movements.
With a selling price of about 13,000 USD, G1 opens a breakthrough in the application of humanoid robots in life. Dear readers, please watch more videos: Breakthrough in the humanoid robot revolution | VTV24
