Cities are bustling with activity as they "put on a makeover" in anticipation of the new year.

Observations in the central area of Tan Ninh ward show that many roads and public works are being urgently renovated, repainted, and refurbished to be completed before Tet (Lunar New Year). Among them, Quan Bridge, a structure deeply connected to the memories of many generations of Tay Ninh residents and considered a symbol of the old urban center, is having its railings repainted and its surrounding landscape improved. After a long period of use, giving Quan Bridge a "new look" will not only ensure traffic safety but also contribute to beautifying the urban space, evoking familiar feelings every time Spring arrives.

Simultaneously, a series of key transportation infrastructure projects in the province are being accelerated by construction units, focusing on completing important items before the Lunar New Year to serve the travel, entertainment, and shopping needs of the people. Many inner-city roads and routes connecting residential areas, administrative areas, and tourist destinations are being upgraded synchronously; in particular, the extended Nguyen Chi Thanh road has been completed, and the renovation project of Cach Mang Thang Tam road is progressing rapidly. Items such as road surface upgrades, sidewalk renovations, lighting systems, and green spaces are being implemented simultaneously, contributing to creating a clean and spacious urban appearance.

Urban renovation in Tay Ninh is not just a temporary measure but is being implemented systematically and comprehensively according to long-term development orientations. The province is accelerating projects to upgrade transportation infrastructure, plan and restructure urban space with a vision to 2040, aiming to build a green, smart, and sustainable city, improve the quality of life for residents, and increase attractiveness to investors.

Notably, the reorganization and merger of administrative units in accordance with the central government's general policy is opening a new phase of development for Tay Ninh, forming a more streamlined and efficient administrative apparatus. This is considered an important prerequisite for expanding development space, creating room for planning and investing in synchronous and modern urban and social infrastructure in the future.

Celebrating the Party and the Lunar New Year, tourism is expanding and experiencing breakthroughs.

Along with urban infrastructure improvements, the celebratory atmosphere of the Party and the Lunar New Year 2026 is spreading enthusiastically throughout Tay Ninh province with many practical and meaningful activities. All levels and sectors are focusing on caring for families of policy beneficiaries, those who have contributed to the revolution, social welfare recipients, poor households, and workers in difficult circumstances during Tet. These Tet gifts, visits, and timely encouragement not only have material value but also demonstrate gratitude, sharing, and community cohesion in the early days of the new year.

Simultaneously, provincial delegations are also preparing to organize visits and New Year greetings to the armed forces and units performing duties along the border, encouraging officers and soldiers to work with peace of mind and firmly protect national sovereignty and border security.

As part of the celebrations for the Party and the Lunar New Year, Tay Ninh will organize many cultural, artistic, and sports programs and activities to serve the people. Art performances, competitions, and mass sports events will take place enthusiastically in many localities, creating a joyful and healthy atmosphere for people to celebrate the traditional Tet holiday.

From the Ba Den Mountain National Tourist Area to the urban infrastructure in the center of Tan Ninh ward, Tay Ninh province is gradually taking on a new look.

In particular, preparations for the Ba Den Mountain Spring Festival in the year of the Horse 2026, one of the province's largest cultural and tourism events, are being carried out urgently and systematically. According to the draft plan, the Spring Festival is expected to take place from February 17th to March 18th, 2026; the opening ceremony, themed "The Flavors of Tay Ninh in 2026," will be held on February 20th, 2026, at the square opposite the Ba Den Mountain Cable Car Station, within the Ba Den Mountain National Tourist Area. The series of cultural and artistic activities, traditional rituals, and festival spaces at the mountaintop promise to offer visitors a rich experience of Tay Ninh's cultural identity amidst the vibrant spring atmosphere. Furthermore, accommodation establishments, especially homestays in the province, have proactively upgraded their facilities and beautified their spaces, ready to welcome a large number of tourists to Tay Ninh during the Lunar New Year.

Alongside festive activities, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province, Le Van Han, has directed departments, agencies, and localities to complete sanitation, beautification of the environment, and urban and rural order before February 7th (the 20th day of the 12th lunar month), ensuring a civilized urban and rural appearance to welcome Tet. The province is also strengthening market management, stabilizing prices, ensuring a balance between supply and demand, and preventing counterfeit and substandard goods; requiring agencies and units to strictly adhere to administrative discipline and not allow the Tet celebrations to affect their professional duties.

In addition, Tay Ninh province has requested that units focus on practicing thrift and combating waste in activities celebrating the Party and the Lunar New Year; strengthening disease prevention and control in crops and livestock, forest fire prevention and control, environmental protection, and ensuring food safety. Social welfare work continues to be prioritized with the goal of "leaving no one behind"; businesses are required to pay full salaries and Tet bonuses to employees, and to prevent the emergence of complex issues related to security and order.

The synchronized combination of infrastructure improvements, transportation upgrades, and the organization of large-scale cultural activities and festivals is creating momentum for Tay Ninh to make a breakthrough in the early days of the year's tourism season, affirming its position as an attractive cultural, spiritual, and tourist destination in the Southern region in the Spring of the Year of the Horse 2026.
