A vibrant New Year's Eve art program

On the evening of February 16th (the 29th day of the Lunar New Year), a special art program titled "Lao Cai - Celebrating the Party and the Spring Festival of the Year of the Horse 2026" took place in a vibrant atmosphere at Dinh Le Square.

Attending the program were Comrade Hau A Lenh - Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee; Comrade Trinh Xuan Truong - Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee; Comrade Giang Thi Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; leaders of several departments, agencies, and organizations of the province, along with a large number of people in the province and tourists from all over.

The art program consists of three parts: "Faith in the Party," "The Convergence of Spring Colors - Lao Cai Rises," and "Spring and Aspirations." The first part features performances praising the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, and the spring of the nation, expressing the people's faith and attachment to the Party, while creating an atmosphere of excitement for the new year.

Next, in the section "The Convergence of Spring Colors - Lao Cai Rises," the artistic space shifted to the spring colors of the highlands with melodies reflecting the sounds of the Northwest, showcasing the natural beauty, cultural life, and spirit of unity of the ethnic groups in Lao Cai. Modern music combined with traditional cultural elements brought many familiar and intimate emotions to the audience.

The final part of the program – "Spring and Aspirations" – featured cheerful and vibrant performances, spreading the joy of reunion and conveying faith and hope for a peaceful and prosperous new year.

To conclude the program, a spectacular fireworks display illuminated the New Year's Eve night sky, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere, ushering in a new year filled with faith and hope.
