A solemn atmosphere at sea.

From early morning, the atmosphere at Gành Hào became lively with the sound of lion dance drums and colorful banners. The parade started from the Nam Hải Ancestral Temple, passed through central streets such as Ngọc Điền and Phan Ngọc Hiển, and proceeded to the fishing port, watched by a large crowd of people.

The group traveled along Ngoc Dien road in Ganh Hao commune.

Mr. Le Van Hoang, a member of the Management Board of the Nam Hai Whale Temple, respectfully carries the whale's remains to the port, preparing for the "Invoking the Whale" ritual at sea.

This year, the Nghinh Ông procession consisted of 7 large vessels, including 3 carrying the sacred statue of the Whale God and 4 carrying delegates, with over 200 participants. Authorities strictly controlled the provision of life jackets and the number of people on board before departure, ensuring absolute safety for the ceremony at sea.

The fleet of ships sailed out of the Gành Hào estuary to welcome Ông (the deity).
