From early morning, the mass participation running event attracted nearly 130 athletes, including officials, civil servants, students, and residents of the commune. The athletes conquered the 3km route running through Kim Son 1 and Trang Nam villages, past plum orchards in full bloom, creating a lively and exciting atmosphere.

The highlight of the festival was the plum-picking competition, with the participation of 10 teams from villages in the commune. In the competition, each team of 3 members competed for 15 minutes in plum orchards that were in harvest season. The teams demonstrated agility and skill in the picking process. Scoring criteria included: weight, and assessment of fruit quality based on factors such as uniform ripeness, attractive appearance, and absence of damage.

At the festival, 23 stalls from villages and schools in Yen Son commune showcased local agricultural products such as plums, clean produce, OCOP products, and traditional handicrafts. The beautifully decorated exhibition space, reflecting the rich cultural identity of the ethnic groups, attracted a large number of visitors to explore and experience the exhibits.

Within the framework of the festival, sports competitions such as throwing the "con" (a traditional game), tug-of-war, etc., attracted more than 300 athletes from villages, units, and schools in the commune. The competitions were lively and exciting, with enthusiastic cheering from the people and tourists, creating a joyful and united atmosphere.

Through a series of diverse activities, the Yen Son Commune Plum Festival contributes to promoting the local plum brand, fostering experiential tourism development, and enhancing the value of agricultural products; at the same time, it opens up opportunities for consumption connections, expanding markets, and increasing income for the people.
