The Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Saigon Ward organized the "Spring of Unity - Tet of Compassion" festival for the Year of the Horse 2026.

The festival took place in a joyful and warm atmosphere, with many meaningful activities: donating trees, giving gifts, a competition for wrapping banh chung and banh tet (traditional Vietnamese rice cakes), folk games, and welfare stalls…
Speaking at the event, Comrade Nguyen Tan Phat, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Saigon Ward, affirmed that the event is a practical activity demonstrating the spirit of putting the people at the center of all policies and guidelines of the Party and the State.

At the event, Saigon Ward presented nearly 530 Tet gifts, totaling over 390 million VND, to policy beneficiary households, disadvantaged households, and vulnerable people in the area.

* The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Xom Chieu ward, along with political and social organizations in the ward, organized the "Spring of Solidarity - Tet of Compassion" festival, attracting a large number of officials, union members, association members, and residents to participate.

The highlight of the event was the joint signing ceremony between the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, political and social organizations, and the ward police to effectively implement the "Unity - Compassion - Self-governance" neighborhood model.
This activity contributes to concretizing the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws on promoting the strength of national unity, building cultural life at the grassroots level, and maintaining political security and social order in the area.
In response to the movement to build green, clean, beautiful, and environmentally friendly cities, the Front Committee of the 23 neighborhoods in the ward also registered to carry out many practical projects and tasks, contributing to beautifying the landscape and improving the quality of life for the people.
In the warm and heartfelt atmosphere of the days leading up to Tet (Lunar New Year), the organizing committee presented more than 90 gifts to union members, association members, and households in difficult circumstances.

On this occasion, many groups and individuals with outstanding achievements in competitions such as decorating Lunar New Year calendars, writing the first words of the new year, and decorating and wrapping New Year gifts were also commended and rewarded, creating a joyful atmosphere and strengthening community bonds before the New Year.
* The Ho Chi Minh City Federation of Labor (HCMCFL) collaborated with Tan Uyen ward to organize a series of programs titled "Tet Reunion - Spring Gratitude to the Party" for the Spring of the Year of the Horse 2026.
As part of the program, the City's Labor Union presented Tet gifts, train tickets, bus tickets, and plane tickets to union members and workers so they could return home to celebrate Tet with their families.

On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh City Federation of Labor Unions launched a "Member Welfare Point" to serve workers, offering discounts of 10-50% compared to market prices. The welfare point is located right in the square of Tan Uyen ward.

Welfare centers are established to provide essential goods and services at preferential prices and with guaranteed quality, helping workers reduce the burden of living expenses, especially during the Lunar New Year.
