Through this event, the Happy Vietnam Day conveys a message about cultural values, family, and happiness, while encouraging the younger generation to learn about, appreciate, and spread the national heritage.

The procession started from Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, passed through Hang Dau Street, the intersection of Trang Tien and Hang Khay streets, circled around Hoan Kiem Lake, and then returned to the main stage of the festival.

With people dressed in traditional Vietnamese long dresses, ceremonial robes, and five-panel dresses, the scene was vibrant and colorful, attracting many locals and tourists.

Inspired by the joyous ceremonies of the Nguyen Dynasty with their ceremonial processions, offerings, and auspicious symbols, the program aims to evoke the image of the procession of officials, family members, and the bride and groom from the past.

Familiar rituals from cultural memory are recreated like vivid film scenes, now appearing amidst modern streets, creating a feeling that is both nostalgic and fresh.

The procession brought together a large community of Vietnamese traditional clothing enthusiasts, cultural research and practice groups, and many couples who registered to participate in the format of one male and one female.

Expanding the event's participation to the general public is considered an interesting highlight, giving many young people the opportunity to preserve wedding season memories through photos in traditional Vietnamese attire.

In addition, the event also contributes to enriching the cultural life of the community and affirms the enduring vitality of Vietnamese traditional clothing in the modern era.
