QNgTV- Salt workers feel sad when going to Sa Huynh salt fields. Salt melts before sad faces and regretful sighs...

Storm No. 13 recently caused heavy damage to the people of Sa Huynh ward, Quang Ngai province, where there is a famous salt field hundreds of years old.
Sa Huynh salt field, with an area of over 100 hectares and over 500 salt-producing households participating in production, produces from 6,000 to 8,000 tons each year, some years reaching over 10,000 tons. However, after the recent storm, the sea level rose, big waves overflowed the dike, flooding the entire salt field. Over 4,000 tons of salt dissolved, causing an estimated loss of over 8 billion VND.
Not only the salt industry, more than 400 aquaculture cages in Nuoc Man lagoon were also severely damaged, many moored vessels were broken by waves, causing people to be devastated. Currently, the local government is calculating the damage, at the same time supporting people to overcome the consequences, and soon stabilize production.
