'Sa Pa of Thanh land' is hazy in the fog

Pu Luong (Pu Luong commune, Thanh Hoa province) has long been a famous experiential tourism destination due to its pristine beauty and majestic mountains, creating a giant landscape painting that captivates many domestic and international tourists. The only road through Pu Luong commune is shrouded in mist. Local residents say that because it is located at an altitude of 1,700m, Pu Luong has a cool, fresh atmosphere and is covered in mist all year round. "In summer, the mist and clouds descend beautifully, while in winter, the fog is thick, covering the area from early morning until noon. Because of this ever-changing scenery, tourists love to come here," shared Ms. Hue (owner of a homestay in Pu Luong commune).

The ethereal scenery is a delight for visitors. "Every year I come to Pu Luong several times during the rice harvest season to admire the clouds and morning mist. Only here can I truly feel the fresh, gentle, and peaceful atmosphere," said Thanh Tung (34 years old).

Around 10 a.m., the thick fog gradually dissipated, and locals took advantage of the opportunity to harvest rice in the terraced fields.

The peaceful scenery along every street and alleyway delights everyone who sets foot there.
