SABECO, along with the campaign "Sharing the Flavor of Vietnamese Tet - Connecting Across Regions," held events in Vinh Long and Can Tho.

Recently, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, in coordination with Saigon Beer, Alcohol and Beverage Joint Stock Company (SABECO), organized the event "Sharing the Taste of Vietnamese Tet - Connecting Across Regions" in Vinh Long province and Can Tho city on January 17th and 18th, 2026. This is a series of community events, bringing meaningful and bonding Tet experiences to thousands of people in many localities.

At the event held in Vinh Long Square and Vinh Chau Ward, Can Tho City, the program presented 900 gift packages bearing the message "Sharing the Vietnamese Tet Flavor" to disadvantaged families – representing optimism and a strong will to overcome life's challenges, along with border guards who are protecting the peace and security of the people day and night. Each gift package included not only essential items and familiar Tet flavors such as banh tet (traditional Vietnamese rice cake) and Tet jam, but also a lucky red envelope as a wish for good fortune and blessings for the people in the new year. Through this meaningful gift, SABECO hopes to bring completeness and warmth to those who have not had the opportunity to celebrate a full Tet, so that everyone can feel like they are part of the shared joy of the new year.

Representatives from SABECO presented Tet gifts to people in difficult circumstances in Vinh Long province.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuan Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long province, shared: “Through the cooperation with SABECO in the campaign "Sharing the Taste of Vietnamese Tet - Connecting All Regions", we hope that the Tet gifts not only have material value, but also provide spiritual encouragement, helping local people feel the care and support of the community and society during the New Year. More importantly, the program's activities contribute to helping everyone, especially those in difficult circumstances, feel that they are a part of Tet, a part of the joy and shared connection of the community. This is also a way for the spirit of solidarity and compassion of the nation to continue to spread strongly during the Tet season.”

Within the framework of the event, SABECO offered an experiential space showcasing the "flavor of Tet" through 7 interactive zones with many attractive community activities. Each zone represented a familiar yet emotionally charged aspect of the spring festival. A highlight was the "Family Reunion" Tet cake-making competition, with the participation of local residents from nearby neighborhoods. In the lively atmosphere of the event, teams experienced making Tet cakes and arranging Tet feast tables together. The event in Vinh Long vividly portrayed the culture of the Mekong Delta with Tet dishes featuring the distinctive flavors of the riverine region and familiar Tet activities such as bingo. Through each "Sharing the Flavor of Vietnamese Tet" event held in the North, Central, and South, people could clearly feel the differences in Tet customs and the preparation of Tet feast tables. Although each region had its own way of expressing it, they all shared a common value: Tet is a time for reunion, sharing, and strengthening family and community bonds.

People participated in a competition to wrap banh tet (traditional Vietnamese rice cakes) and arrange five-fruit trays, fostering togetherness and demonstrating the spirit of sharing during Tet.

In addition, the event also offered attractive Tet cultural experiences in the "Spring Opening" area with cultural performances and calligraphy by a calligrapher in the "Rich and Authentic Tet Flavors" area with 333 Beer, and photo opportunities to capture joyful Tet family moments in the "Joyful and Lively Flavors" area. The "Connecting Flavors" area with Saigon Lager Beer attracted a large number of local people with fun interactive mini-games inspired by familiar bonding activities during Tet such as singing, raising a glass to celebrate, and exchanging New Year's greetings.

People enjoy the activity of asking calligraphers for auspicious calligraphy, a reenactment of a familiar Vietnamese Tet (Lunar New Year) custom.

In particular, at the "Tet Connection" area, people can admire simple yet joyful Tet celebrations from people across the country, and participate in and become part of a shared picture (mosaic e-album) through the community-building activity "Sharing the Taste of Vietnamese Tet". This is an initiative by SABECO, calling on people across 34 provinces and cities to share their Tet celebration images and stories on social media with the hashtag #ChungViTetViet. The shared Tet picture is displayed by SABECO at community events in three provinces: Dak Lak , Vinh Long, and Nghe An, expressing the desire to create a common platform to unite the Vietnamese people so that everyone becomes a part of a shared and connected Tet season.

Ms. Patsy Lim, Deputy General Director in charge of Marketing and Corporate Communications at SABECO, said: “For SABECO, Tet is not only a traditional holiday but also a time for people to feel the connection and sense of belonging most clearly. Throughout its development journey, SABECO has always appreciated the companionship and contributions of localities across the country, including Vinh Long and Can Tho – regions rich in cultural identity, affection, and long-standing ties with SABECO. Through the campaign "Sharing the Taste of Vietnamese Tet – Connecting Across Regions," we hope to create a bridge – where everyone has the opportunity to experience a fulfilling and warm Tet, no matter where they are or what their circumstances. SABECO believes that when the cultural values of Tet are preserved and spread through practical actions, Tet will become a shared experience for the entire community where everyone shares, rejoices, and feels proud together.”

Vinh Long and Can Tho are two of the 16 localities where a series of Tet gift-giving and community bonding activities will take place from January 10, 2026 to February 8, 2026. These are not only representative localities of the Mekong Delta region – places that preserve the rich cultural identity of the Western Tet holiday – but also localities with a long-standing relationship with SABECO in business activities and meaningful community programs over the years.

To date, the campaign has covered four provinces and cities: Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Vinh Long, and Can Tho, with 1800 Tet gifts distributed. Following this, the program organizers will continue bringing meaningful activities to Dong Thap, Dong Nai, Nghe An, and Ha Tinh on January 24th and 25th, continuing the journey of bringing Tet experiences closer to the community and spreading the spirit of sharing and connection during the Lunar New Year of the Horse.

The "Sharing the Flavor of Vietnamese Tet - Connecting Across Regions" campaign, initiated by SABECO, aims to preserve the beauty of Vietnamese culture and connect diverse cultural nuances from all regions into a shared Tet experience, where everyone feels connected and belongs together. This is also the first year SABECO has made its annual Tet program a platform to celebrate the cultural diversity of Vietnam's regions, demonstrating the company's role in preserving traditional cultural identity, fostering community cohesion, and spreading national pride.
