The colors of Southern Vietnam with the Teveda procession of the Khmer people (Ca Mau) and the Don Ca Tai Tu folk music ( Dong Thap ) are vividly performed in the capital, bringing the spirit of the distant South. The flavors of Northern Vietnam are showcased with the Cao Lan people's rice planting festival, the Dong Anh folk lantern dance (Thanh Hoa), and the Muong people's custom of tying threads around their wrists for good luck.
