Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Park Soon Cheol, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Samsung Electronics, shared information about Samsung's operations and development direction in Vietnam.
Mr. Park Soon Cheol stated that, over the 17 years since making a large-scale investment decision in Vietnam in 2008, Samsung Vietnam has successfully implemented numerous high-tech projects, operating 6 manufacturing entities, 1 research and development institute, and 1 sales entity, consistently maintaining impressive revenue levels and affirming its position as a leading FDI enterprise in Vietnam.
According to Mr. Park Soon Cheol, Samsung's stable growth in Vietnam is the result of strong support and cooperation from the Government, especially the close guidance of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Science and Technology , and local authorities in improving the investment environment. He expressed his deep gratitude to the management agencies for always creating favorable conditions for Samsung's sustainable development.
Currently, Samsung Vietnam is accelerating its program to expand the participation of Vietnamese businesses in its component supply chain. In the future, Samsung will proactively implement in-depth training and consulting programs to enhance the technological capabilities of Vietnamese businesses, enabling them to meet global standards and participate more deeply in Samsung's value chain as well as the international supply chain.
"We are committed to strengthening training and continuously researching to find suitable approaches to increase the localization rate in Vietnam. Samsung will continue to work alongside the Vietnamese Government in the upcoming development journey," Mr. Park Soon Cheol emphasized.

Speaking at the meeting, Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Manh Hung highly appreciated Samsung's important contributions to the Vietnamese economy . He also affirmed that Vietnam always encourages high-tech investment activities, promotes R&D, technology transfer, and increases the localization rate in Samsung's production in Vietnam.
Minister Nguyen Manh Hung emphasized that future competition will be a competition for talent, and talent can only thrive in an environment rich in diversity and creativity. The Minister expressed his hope that Samsung will continue to aim to attract and leverage global intelligence in Vietnam, while strengthening long-term strategic cooperation with Vietnam.

In response to Minister Nguyen Manh Hung, Mr. Park Soon Cheol expressed his confidence in Vietnam's policies supporting international businesses, considering them "appropriate, friendly, and visionary."
Mr. Park Soon Cheol stated that Vietnam is a particularly important market among the more than 100 countries where Samsung is investing, with advantages in high-quality human resources and a large manufacturing ecosystem. "We are always committed to working alongside the Vietnamese government and people. With a vision of cooperation spanning over 100 years, Samsung is committed to continuously transferring technology, supporting and promoting R&D, increasing the localization rate, and improving the quality of human resources, so that both sides can achieve sustainable development," Mr. Park Soon Cheol affirmed.
The exchanges between the two sides affirmed the depth of strategic cooperation between Vietnam and Samsung, not only in terms of investment scale but also in technology transfer, human resource development, and expansion of the global supply chain. This is an important foundation that helps Vietnam make steady progress in the high-tech field, while strengthening Vietnam's position as a strategic anchor in Samsung's development journey.
