Performances for the grassroots, online art programs, rehearsals of excerpts, new cai luong plays and activities to prepare for celebrating the Party and spring are being carried out simultaneously, promising to bring the audience rich and lively spiritual "dishes".
"Lights up" at the end of the year
In the last days of the year, Dong Nai Art Theater continuously lit up, performing many genres, meeting the requirements of political tasks and the people's enjoyment needs. Comprehensive music and dance programs along with plays and excerpts from reformed opera such as: Sad love story, Reunion day, Enmity in the harem, This spring we have each other... were carefully staged, leaving a beautiful impression in the hearts of the audience because of their close and emotional content.
In parallel with the performance, Dong Nai Arts Theatre is actively rehearsing the new Cai Luong play The Bell (author Le Trung Dung, adapted by Nguyen Luu Thanh). The Cai Luong play is expected to create a highlight for local theatrical activities at the end of the year.

Deputy Director of Dong Nai Art Theater Nguyen Viet Bac said: Like other art units nationwide, in the last days of the year, the theater promotes practice activities, shows, ensuring the completion of targets and tasks assigned by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. In addition, the theater is preparing the Party Celebration Program, celebrating the Spring of Binh Ngo 2026, serving ethnic minorities, border areas, workers far from home and cultural activities, festivals...
In harmony with the general atmosphere, the Mobile Propaganda Team of Dong Nai Cultural - Cinema Center also made efforts to practice programs to celebrate the Party and celebrate spring; at the same time, organized many exchanges and performances to serve the grassroots with programs such as Safe Melody, Forever Song of Offering to the Party...
Captain of the Mobile Propaganda Team Cao Thep shared: “The mobile programs are designed to combine art performances and skits, focusing on praising the Party and Uncle Ho; expressing love for the homeland and people of Dong Nai today. This combination helps the program become more lively, easier to receive and suitable for many audiences.”
The excitement of the year-end stage is also reflected in the active participation of the artistic cores from clubs, teams and groups. This is an important force, contributing hundreds of small performances, enriching the spiritual life at the grassroots level.
At the Dong Nai Province Amateur Music Club, the practice atmosphere is equally exciting. The club has planned to select traditional folk songs and performances such as: Lien Nam Motherland, Southern Heritage, Dao Ngu Cung Peaceful Mountains, Dong Nai Folk Song in Spring... expressing the belief in a new year with new victories. Currently, club members are participating in performances and exchanges with communes and wards in the province in the Sweet Southern Flavors Program.
Efforts to serve the audience
According to Deputy Director of Dong Nai Culture - Cinema Center Do Thi Hong, along with performances, the unit is finalizing a plan to organize a series of competitions and festivals to celebrate the spring of Binh Ngo 2026 such as: Dong Nai Province Modern Dance Group Competition, Dong Nai Province Mass Art Club Competition... These are familiar playgrounds, attracting a large number of clubs, teams and grassroots art nuclei to participate, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere, adding positive energy for the community to enter the new year with many good expectations.
Along with art performances, short plays, and comedy plays about the grassroots, 7 mobile film screening teams of Dong Nai Cultural - Cinema Center have screened and integrated propaganda over 1,700 sessions in 2025, serving over 150,000 viewers.
With the goal of giving all people the opportunity to access attractive cultural activities at the end of the year, art units in the province have also promoted livestreaming, recording and broadcasting art programs online. This form is not new but continues to show its effectiveness in creating conditions for people, especially people in remote areas, workers and busy laborers, to still enjoy quality art programs right at home.
On the Dong Nai stage, the appearance of many young and enthusiastic artists not only brings a new breath and modern performance style but also a willingness to learn and inherit from the previous generation. This positive signal shows the continuation of the cultural source and sustainable development of the traditional Dong Nai stage.
In 2025, Dong Nai Art Theater continues to firmly affirm its role as a pioneer in bringing art to serve political tasks and the people. The unit has completed more than 350 performances and served over 137,500 viewers.
Young artist Diem Huong, Dong Nai Art Theater shared: “Being able to stand on stage in the bustling atmosphere of the last days of the year to serve the tasks is the joy and happiness of every artist. Our generation of young artists always keep in mind that we must constantly improve our profession, both learning from our predecessors and striving to renew ourselves to bring new colors to the stage and attract the audience.”
With the serious investment, efforts and sense of responsibility of the artists and actors of the province, Dong Nai stage activities in the year-end season continue to be a "bright spot" in the field of performing arts. Thereby, contributing to spreading cultural values and creating an exciting atmosphere among the people.
