According to the report at the meeting, in the first 6 months of the year, the total area of summer crops in Nam Giang district reached 2,319 hectares, estimated at 99.9% of the plan; of which the area of grain crops was 848.4 hectares, reaching 99.2% of the plan and equal to 100.3% compared to the same period. The output of grain crops reached more than 2,310 tons, an increase of 132.1 tons compared to the same period last year.
The district has supported 7 entities to register to build OCOP products in 2024. Successfully organized 2 night markets to promote the consumption of local products; licensed the establishment of 13 new business households and 1 forestry cooperative. To date, the entire Nam Giang district has achieved 16 more new rural criteria, bringing the total number of criteria achieved to 161, an average of 14.63 criteria/commune.
State budget revenue in the past 6 months reached 164/324.8 billion VND, reaching 50.5% of the district's estimate for 2024, up 1.2% over the same period in 2023. Implementing the basic construction investment plan, the district continued to direct the implementation of 64 transitional projects, and is implementing 39 new projects.
