Tam Anh commune has 3 entrance exam locations for 10th grade in the 2026-2027 school year at Luong The Vinh Secondary School, Nguyen Khuyen Secondary School and Cao Ba Quat High School, with 918 candidates.
To support candidates during this important exam, the Tam Anh Commune Youth Union launched a youth team to assist during the exam season and a rapid response team to help with emergency situations. They also mobilized resources to provide drinking water for candidates and parents.
According to Mr. Huynh Minh Phat, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tam Anh commune and Secretary of the Tam Anh Commune Youth Union, before the exam, the unit implemented the "Digital Volunteer - Supporting the Exam Season" model to receive and summarize the support needs of candidates and develop appropriate support plans, especially for those in difficult circumstances.
Simultaneously, we introduce reputable online knowledge review channels, provide psychological counseling, and offer encouragement to candidates.
In Thang An commune, where 861 candidates registered to participate in the 10th grade entrance exam, the Youth Union organized skills training for 150 members of the exam support team; mobilized resources to support drinking water and learning materials; and also conducted surveys of 2 exam locations, reviewed the list of candidates to prepare appropriate support plans.
Ms. Pham Thi Dieu, Vice Chairperson of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thang An commune and Secretary of the Youth Union of Thang An commune, said: "During the exam period, we proactively monitored the situation of candidates in the localities to provide timely support when unexpected situations occurred."
Rapid response teams will assist in transporting students with special needs; participate in guiding, directing traffic, and ensuring traffic safety at examination sites with high traffic density.

To date, the City Youth Union has established 122 teams to support the 10th grade entrance exam, with each counseling point having at least 10 permanent volunteers.

The participants included youth union members, young people, students, and young teachers from local areas and schools.
Notably, the application of digital technology has enabled youth union branches at all levels to proactively receive and synthesize candidates' support needs; classify data and develop appropriate and timely support plans.
The video review system, posted on the Youth Union and Student Association's website and fanpage, helps candidates easily access knowledge anytime, anywhere.
Healthcare for exam candidates is also a priority, with activities including communication, nutritional counseling, distribution of disease prevention handbooks, and provision of medication and nutritional products.
Simultaneously, develop plans for disease prevention and control, ensuring food safety and hygiene, and traffic safety at examination sites with a large number of candidates.
According to Le Cong Hung, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city and Secretary of the City Youth Union, the "Supporting Students During Exams" program is an annual activity aimed at promoting the pioneering and volunteer spirit of young people, helping candidates feel confident entering the exam.
Before the exam, youth union branches at all levels intensified propaganda efforts, opened channels for receiving support requests, organized online consultations, and introduced reputable study resources.
The program is currently continuing to mobilize resources to provide drinking water and learning materials; it also plans to organize free meals for disadvantaged candidates, helping to motivate them to overcome the exam.
