On the afternoon of February 14th, Mr. Le Canh Phong, Head of Bich La Dong village, informed that, thanks to the attention of the Party Committee and People's Committee of Trieu Phong commune, and the active preparation of the festival organizing committee, the conditions for organizing the Bich La Market Festival in the Spring of the Year of the Horse have been basically completed.

Accordingly, the Organizing Committee carried out thorough cleaning of the entire festival grounds; arranged a complete lighting system and decorative lights; hung flags; installed miniature landscapes as check-in points; erected the ceremonial pole; arranged stalls, parking areas, etc.
Measures to ensure security and order, fire prevention and control, price management, and food safety and hygiene were also thoroughly discussed and implemented.

The 2026 Bich La Market Festival will take place from 7:30 PM on the 2nd day of the Lunar New Year until the end of the 3rd day of the Lunar New Year, including the following activities: The ceremonial part with a prayer to the Golden Turtle deity; the opening ceremony and the "Village of Fun and Singing" program; offering incense to pray for health and prosperity. The festive part includes competitions: Bài Chòi (a traditional Vietnamese folk game), chess, calligraphy, and traditional folk games. Finally, the market will feature the display of local agricultural products and OCOP (One Commune One Product) products; calligraphy and clay figurine making by artisans.

Bich La, which roughly translates to "jade silk ribbon," is an ancient village formed nearly 500 years ago, preserving the essence of traditional culture, customs, and practices to this day.

The Bich La Temple Market Festival is a traditional festival held annually. At the festival, visitors can immerse themselves in a mystical and spiritual cultural atmosphere, surrounded by sacred temples and shrines where they can pray for peace, health, wealth, and love in the new year.
