In particular, during times of heavy rain and storms, Nam Trach has identified three key areas that require the deployment of forces and vehicles on duty 24/7 to warn people and deploy rescue solutions when necessary, including: The area at the foot of Thac Chuoi dam and Da Mai dike in Nong Truong Viet Trung town (old); low-lying residential areas in Chanh Hoa, where the Dinh River flows through; Route 567 from Nhan Trach area to Ly Trach.

Similarly, the mountainous commune of Minh Hoa has been operating since July 1, 2025 with a huge amount of work that needs to be focused on. However, the People's Committee of the commune still urgently prioritized the establishment of the PCTT, Search and Rescue Command Committee and the Civil Defense Command Committee (PTDS) in a streamlined, efficient, effective and efficient manner.

Improving disaster response capacity

In addition, the department also advised the Provincial People's Committee to direct and deploy the establishment of an online PCTT management system for the whole province, connecting from the province to the commune level, especially in remote, border and island areas; promote the application of information technology, digital transformation to build software and online reporting data to promptly update the situation and damage caused by natural disasters in the province.
