The program " The Fatherland honors the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025)" took place at the National Martyrs Cemetery on Road 9, Quang Tri province. This is the resting place of nearly 11,000 heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the two resistance wars of the nation.

Singer Thu Hang and other artists in the program
In addition to singer Nguyen Thu Hang, many other artists also participated such as: Sao Mai Huyen Trang, OPlus group, Hoang Hong Ngoc...
The program is a sacred chorus of gratitude, a respectful incense offering to the generation of fathers and brothers who fell, sacrificing their blood and bones for the Fatherland. They left behind on the old battlefield not only blood and bones, but also youth and dreams that have not yet been named, so that today's country can blossom with independence and bear the fruit of freedom.
In the program, the champion of Sao Mai 2015 contest, Nguyen Thu Hang, performed the song "Sending to love", composed by musician Le Trong Lap, adapted from the poem "Vieng mo ba" by author Minh Ngoc, written for her father who sacrificed his life in the 1968 Mau Than campaign in Hue .

Morning Star Thu Hang.
With a gentle, profound melody, the song is like a son's heartfelt confession of love and longing for his father - a martyr who is resting with his comrades at the National Martyrs' Cemetery on Route 9.
Sharing about the moment standing on stage at this sacred place, Thu Hang emotionally said: “ I have had many opportunities to sing at the Road 9 Cemetery - the resting place of nearly 11,000 heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed during the two resistance wars of the nation, each time I was filled with emotion. The feeling of standing here singing is always very special, hard to describe.
I feel like I'm not singing for the audience sitting in the stands, but for the nearly 11,000 heroes and martyrs resting here. Many times my eyes sting and my chest feels tight."
Therefore, she sang with all her deep gratitude and infinite gratitude to the previous generation who sacrificed and gave their blood for the peace and independence of the Fatherland.
Nguyen Thu Hang was born in 1995, known to the audience when she won the first prize of Sao Mai National Competition in 2015 in the Folk Music category; the Gold Prize of the Asia-Pacific Arts Festival in Singapore in 2018. After returning to the music scene, she has been quite active, continuously participating in many major art programs in all regions of the country.
