According to the results of the draw for the 4th qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup, the Indonesian team is in the same group with Saudi Arabia and Iraq. These are two opponents that Garuda (the nickname of the Indonesian team) has faced in the 2026 World Cup qualifying round. Notably, Indonesia won 1 and drew 1 in the two matches against Saudi Arabia in the third qualifying round.

Immediately after the draw, naturalized player Justin Hubner posted on his personal Instagram a picture of him kicking Saudi Arabia's Mohammed Al Qahtani in the head with the caption: "We meet again."
Justin Hubner’s move has been met with fierce opposition from Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia’s Winwin newspaper wrote: “Justin Hubner has shown disrespect to the Saudi Arabian team. Obviously, this player has acted provocatively, insulted his opponent or he intended to threaten the Saudi Arabian players. This has created a heated debate.”
According to CNN Indonesia, Justin Hubner deleted the controversial photo due to the strong reaction. In addition, the naturalized Indonesian player posted an apology: "I apologize if anyone was disappointed. Love you all."
Justin Hubner was born in the Netherlands. His father is Indonesian and his mother is Dutch. Justin Hubner grew up in the training center of Wolves (England). However, he did not play any matches for Wolves.

Last year, this defender was loaned back to Cerezo Osaka but he only played 6 matches for the Japanese club. Justin Hubner has just had his contract terminated by Wolves and is currently still looking for a new destination.
In addition to Justin Hubner, a number of other Indonesian players such as Thom Haye, Rafael Struick, Shayne Pattynama, Jordi Amat and Nathan Tjoe-A-On are unemployed. This is a worrying thing as the fourth qualifying round for the 2026 World Cup is approaching.
The 4th qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup will be played from October 8-14. The matches of Group B, which includes Indonesia, Iraq and Saudi Arabia, will be held centrally in Saudi Arabia.
