Delegates from Ca Mau province attended the workshop including comrade Bui Minh Hai, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and comrade Tran Buu Nhan, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs.

The workshop aimed to consolidate and orient sustainable development for the Vietnam Association of Ethnic Minorities in the new period. Delegates, researchers, artists and representatives of management agencies focused on exchanging and giving advice on reorganizing the system of culture and arts in a streamlined and modern direction while still ensuring the uniqueness and cultural identity of ethnic groups.

Speaking at the workshop, Comrade Nong Quoc Binh emphasized: Over the years, the Vietnam Association of Ethnic Minorities Literature and Arts has been active, becoming a core force in preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values ​​of ethnic minorities and mountainous areas. The Association has created many works of high ideological and artistic value, contributing to the development of ethnic minority literature and arts and Vietnamese literature and arts in unity and diversity, worthy of the times.

Representing Ca Mau province, comrade Bui Minh Hai said that the arrangement and consolidation of cultural and artistic organizations is an inevitable trend to improve operational efficiency in the context of organizational innovation. However, this process must be careful and scientific so as not to lose the unique characteristics and identities of each ethnic group, while ensuring the creative rights and artistic space of artists. This is also an opportunity for ethnic minority artists to receive better attention and support.

The Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province emphasized that the spirit of “Unity in Diversity” is the guiding principle for the reorganization process to be scientific, sustainable and humane. In the coming time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province will continue to closely coordinate with sectors and professional associations to support cultural and artistic activities of ethnic groups.

Researchers, artists and representatives of management agencies exchanged, discussed and offered ideas for reorganizing the cultural and artistic system.

At the end of the workshop, delegates unanimously proposed many solutions to develop culture, preserve the identity of ethnic minorities associated with building the great national unity bloc. At the same time, they committed to accompany the roadmap of streamlining the organization while still ensuring the uniqueness and creative rights of artists, contributing to promoting the strong development of ethnic minority literature and arts in the new period.
