Sapo offers free tax declaration conversion solution for 5 million business households

DNVN - On November 11, Sapo Technology Joint Stock Company held a ceremony to announce the program "Free full set of tax declaration conversion solutions - Supporting 5 million business households from traditional to e-commerce", to accompany the Tax sector in the roadmap to eliminate lump-sum tax from January 1, 2026.

The event received support from the Department of Taxation, Department of Digital Economy and Society ( Ministry of Science and Technology ), Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM) and Vietnam Tax Consultants Association (VTCA).

The ceremony took place in the context of the decisions of the Ministry of Finance and the Tax Department on tax model conversion being widely implemented.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Mai Son - Deputy Director of the Tax Department emphasized that the conversion from lump-sum tax to declared tax is a strategic step, demonstrating the determination of the Party and State in building a fair, transparent and modern tax system. Currently, the Tax sector is managing more than 3.6 million business households, of which over 2 million households will receive special support in the process of converting to electronic declaration according to actual revenue and income.

“The industry’s goal is not only to improve the technology, but more importantly, to ensure that every business household has access to the necessary policies, systems and support resources. The Tax industry will have a flexible mechanism for localities affected by natural disasters and vulnerable households, while being transparent in inspections and examinations to avoid causing trouble for taxpayers,” Mr. Son affirmed.

The Deputy Director of the Tax Department highly appreciated the role of technology enterprises like Sapo in transforming policies into practical tools.

Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Mr. Tran Trong Tuyen - Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Sapo said that the elimination of lump-sum tax is an important milestone in the process of modernizing Vietnam's tax system.

According to Mr. Tuyen, digital transformation is not only about digitizing books but also about changing management thinking, helping businesses increase revenue, reduce costs, make operations transparent and easily access capital and preferential policies. At the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Khue - Vice Chairman of Sapo Board of Directors introduced the free Sapo 6870 solution set for business households, including features of sales management, electronic invoice issuance and automatic tax declaration right on the phone. In addition, Sapo offers a 24-month support package for software use, 2,000 electronic invoices and 3 months of free digital signature use.

“This is not just a technology program, but also Sapo's social commitment, helping businesses enter the digital transformation journey in a simple, effective and sustainable way,” Ms. Khue emphasized.

For large-scale businesses or those transitioning to enterprises, Sapo also provides free support with Sapo Accounting software, helping to fully comply with regulations on invoices, documents and books.

To ensure practical implementation, Sapo has mobilized a network of more than 1,000 experts, partners and consultants across the country, coordinating with local tax offices to directly guide and install software, support registration, issue invoices and declare taxes in accordance with regulations. At the same time, Sapo integrates AI Chatbot into the software - trained according to the latest legal documents - to support businesses 24/7.

Along with that, Sapo also launched the "Tax Station and Electronic Invoice" page, organized a series of seminars, talks and livestreams to guide business households to clearly understand policies, use technology easily and confidently declare taxes in the digital environment.

According to Ms. Cuc, the lump-sum tax mechanism was once suitable when the infrastructure was weak, but in the era of multi-channel and multi-platform transactions, the electronic declaration model is an inevitable trend.
