Landslide in Hung Son commune: Da Nang City Military Command urgently carries out rescue operations.
DNO - On November 14th, in response to landslides in Hung Son commune, the Da Nang City Military Command urgently mobilized maximum forces, coordinating closely with local authorities and other units to carry out rescue operations, ensuring the absolute safety of the people.

As reported by Da Nang Newspaper and Radio & Television , at approximately 9:30 AM on November 14th, a large-scale landslide occurred in the Put village area – upstream, about 250 meters from the local water dam and the Ga Ry Border Guard Post – burying many areas and blocking traffic for more than 200 meters.
The landslide resulted in three people missing, damaged three motorbikes and five Jun houses (houses used for farming), and caused the loss of nine cows and 15 hectares of farmland belonging to local residents.
Immediately after the incident occurred, the City Military Command directed the Regional Defense Command 2 - Thanh My and local forces to urgently deploy forces to the scene.
Simultaneously, 103 officers and soldiers were mobilized from the City Military Command, the Regional Defense Command 2 - Thanh My, the militia force of Hung Son commune, Ga Ry Border Guard Post, the commune police and the People's Committee of Hung Son commune, along with 2 flycams and 3 vehicles, to actively participate in the search and rescue operation and force mobilization.

The City Military Command directed local forces to coordinate with local authorities to promptly relocate 84 households/314 people from Glao village and 87 households/350 people from H Jun village out of the dangerous area.
A forward command post was established right at the scene, directly commanded by Lieutenant Colonel Tran Kim Tuan, Deputy Commander of the City Military Command, to promptly direct all search and rescue operations and ensure the safety of the participating forces.

Given the possibility of prolonged heavy rain in the coming period, steep terrain, and a very high risk of further landslides, the City Military Command requests that all forces maintain the highest state of readiness and deploy search and rescue efforts for missing victims with urgency and determination, while ensuring absolute safety.
At the same time, the coordinated forces assisted in evacuating residents, protecting property, and maintaining stability in the area.
