
Attending the program were comrades Le Van Hieu, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Hai Phong City; Nguyen Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Phong City; leaders of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, the Vietnam Musicians Association and many music lovers of the port city.

The program consists of three chapters: "Aspirational Homeland", "Fire Song" and "Sound of Motherland", recreating the artistic journey of musician Do Nhuan from his youth in the Port City to the Viet Bac resistance base, from his days in prison to the triumphant victory.
Familiar songs such as Song Thao Guerrilla , Winter Coat , Doan Lua Nhac , Hanh Quan Xa , Chien Thang Dien Bien , Troung Cay La Nho Nuoi Nguoi , Viet Nam Que Huong Toi ... were performed with elaborate staging, modern harmony and visual effects recreating the war zone, mountains and forests, Truong Son, and the image of soldiers and artists.

The general director is Associate Professor, Doctor, musician Do Hong Quan, son of musician Do Nhuan. Participating in the performance are People's Artist Pham Phuong Thao, Meritorious Artist Duc Hoai, and the collective of artists from Hai Phong Contemporary Arts Theater. The combination of music , dance, LED visuals and stage scenery makes each performance a vivid slice of history, filled with the spirit of the people.

Musician Do Nhuan (1922 - 1991) was born in Hoach Trach village (now Duong An commune, Hai Phong city). He is one of the pillars of Vietnamese revolutionary music, the author of many immortal marches and the founder of Vietnamese opera. He was trained at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory, held the position of the first General Secretary of the Vietnam Musicians' Association and left behind a huge musical legacy, both majestic and rich in humanity.

During the performance, People's Artist Khanh Hoa, Director of Hai Phong Contemporary Arts Theater, shared that this is an activity under the Hai Phong Television Stage Project 2025, expressing the city's gratitude to a talent who has contributed to shaping the face of Vietnamese music. Musician Do Hong Quan emotionally said: "The program is a priceless gift for Vietnamese musicians and for my family."
Closing with the medley Hai Phong - Hai Phong - Heroic Port City and My Homeland Vietnam, the music night left a deep echo: Do Nhuan's music still resonates like the call of the past, inspiring and giving strength to today's generations.
