Implementing the plan to reorganize the apparatus of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee, the People's Committees of districts, towns, cities and associations assigned by the Party and State to the Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee, the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities have basically completed the project development.

According to the projects, after the arrangement and consolidation of specialized departments, 12 districts, towns and cities in the province will reduce the total number of departments by 24 compared to the present. In which, each district-level People's Committee will reduce 2 departments.

The District People's Committee has basically completed the plan to reorganize the apparatus of specialized agencies under the District People's Committee and associations assigned by the Party and the State, along with projects to establish the following Departments: Home Affairs and Labor; Economy, Infrastructure and Urban Areas; Culture, Science and Information; Agriculture and Environment Department; reorganize the Office of the District People's Council and People's Committee; reorganize the Departmentof Education and Training; reorganize the Department of Health.

It is expected that the District People's Committee will submit to the People's Council of the same level for consideration and approval of resolutions on the arrangement and organization of specialized agencies under the District People's Committee in February 2025.
