Saudi Arabia hosts joint military exercise of 15 countries

The "Spears of Victory 2025" military exercise is scheduled to take place next week at the Air Warfare Center (AWC) in Saudi Arabia.

On January 24, Saudi Arabia's SPA news agency reported that the exercise will be held from January 26 to February 6, with the participation of 15 countries.

Contributing forces include Bahrain, Greece, France, Qatar, the UK, the US, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Pakistan. Seven other countries - including Australia, Egypt, Italy, Jordan, Morocco, South Korea and Spain - will participate as observers.

Saudi Arabian Air Force Major General Mohammed bin Ali Al-Omari said that the military exercise aims to enhance combat readiness, promote professional exchange in planning and implementing action plans, as well as agree on the concept of joint military action.

The exercise will focus on addressing current and emerging threats, enhancing tactical capabilities and promoting joint operational strategies.

The exercise also included complex tactical operations designed to simulate threats in advanced electronic warfare environments, SPA said.
