* In Tra Tap commune , prolonged heavy rains caused landslides recently, forcing many households to evacuate urgently. Local authorities, along with functional forces, teachers and people joined hands to support accommodation, take care of meals, and help people stabilize their lives during the flood avoidance period.
In village 7, Tra Tap commune, four households from Lang Luong village had to evacuate and gathered at the house of Ms. Ho Thi Thieu. Despite the small house, she was still willing to open the door to welcome nearly 20 people to take shelter.
"In times of difficulty, we see how people love and support each other, which is truly precious," Ms. Thieu shared.

Vo Nguyen Giap Ethnic Boarding Secondary School is home to 14 households with 55 people. During heavy rains, many families cannot return home because their houses are in dangerous areas and have been dismantled and relocated. Thanks to the dedicated support of teachers, people are well taken care of, have stable temporary accommodation and nutritious meals. "Here, teachers take care of everything, from meals to blankets, so everyone is at ease," said Ms. Bui Thi Thieu (village 6).
Teacher Nguyen Thi Phuong Uyen said that the school's teachers take turns cooking to serve the evacuees. "Everyone has their own work, but right now, the most important thing is to help people stay safe and secure," Ms. Uyen shared. (THIEN TUNG - MINH TRANG)
* At the Nam Tra My Regional Medical Center , more than 50 patients and their families who are being treated as inpatients cannot return home because the roads are eroded. Understanding the situation, Hoa Mai Kindergarten cooperated with the Tak Po Village Front Committee to prepare dozens of hot meals every day, sending them directly to the patients and the on-duty forces in the area.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong, a teacher at Hoa Mai Kindergarten, shared: “We just hope that these hot meals will help patients and people to reduce their hardships during the flood. This is also an opportunity for us to teach students about compassion, knowing how to love and share with those in difficult circumstances around them.”
Regardless of the danger, the teachers and the Front Committee of Tak Po village still cross mountains and landslides every day to supply food and necessities to isolated people. (TRUNG LE)
