Lamborghini Revuelto has attracted the attention of many car tuning companies, including Mansory, DMC, 1016 Industries, Zacoe and Keyvany, but car tuning enthusiasts in Vietnam are still missing a familiar name, which is Vorsteiner, a California-based tuning company, which has just launched a carbon bodykit. Vorsteiner's standing in the eyes of car enthusiasts is unquestionable, so they think that the already powerful Lamborghini Revuelto supercar will be even better with its newly crafted carbon body kit.
The highlight of the visual upgrades is a redesigned hood, finished in exposed carbon fiber. It's paired with a more prominent splitter and ventilated fenders, giving the Revuelto a slightly more Batmobile-like look. The rear of the car features extended side skirts, while the diffuser is much larger. Unlike other tuners, Vorsteiner did not add a rear spoiler, but left the active rear wing of the standard Lamborghini Revuelto supercar intact. The Aero package is not just about aesthetics, according to the company, but is designed to “increase downforce, reduce weight, and improve airflow.” All parts are made from 2×2 pre-preg woven carbon fiber that is shaped using autoclave technology, which is said to increase stiffness and strength by 20-30% compared to conventional carbon fiber.
Another important piece of information for Lamborghini owners is that the Vorsteiner body kit is installed directly on the OEM mounting points. This means that the modifications are reversible and their installation will not cause any damage to the precious supercar when the owner wants to return to original. Vorsteiner has kept the Revuelto’s underpinnings intact, as the plug-in hybrid V12 isn’t something you’d want to upgrade. The electrified setup produces a total of 1,001 horsepower out of the box, all thanks to a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 and three electric motors. According to Vorsteiner's official website, the most expensive parts are the rear diffuser at $14,995 and the hood at $11,995. The vented fenders cost $9,995, the side skirts cost $9,945, while the splitter costs $6,995.
If you want the full package, be prepared to spend a lot of money, as it will set you back $53,475. That’s more than a brand new VW Golf R, which has an MSRP of $47,100 in the US. But it’s pocket change compared to DMC’s carbon fiber kit, which can cost as much as $388,888. Video : See details of the Lamborghini Revuelto Vorsteiner supercar modified by Mansory.
