Defender Rizky Ridho has been nominated for the 2025 FIFA Puskas Award, FIFA's most prestigious annual award for the most beautiful goal of the year. Goals are judged on technique, creativity and aesthetic, and are open to all players, both male and female, professional and amateur.

The award is named after Hungarian legend Ferenc Puskas. The winner will be determined by a combination of fan votes and a FIFA jury.

Ridho has been a regular in Indonesia’s squad for recent tournaments, but the goal that earned him the nomination was a stunning long-range strike against Arema, scored for Persija last season (March 9) in the Indonesian Premier League.
